Alvin Lee, Jr. is a corporate culture and personal development professional with over three decades of experience as a senior-level executive at Fortune 500 companies, educational institutions and nonprofits.
Having started his career at Junior Achievement, Alvin is passionate about helping companies, teams and individuals be the best versions of themselves and achieve their goals.
While in the Human Resources departments of Purdue University and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Alvin led employee relations, including human resources functions, departmental reorganizations, and trainings. His ‘Equal Access – Equal Opportunity’ briefings for faculty, staff, and graduate students, reached 11,000 participants campus-wide and achieved a 90% “excellent/good” rating from participants.
As Senior Vice President, Training, and Chief Diversity Officer at Lee Hecht Harrison, a leading global human resources company, Alvin oversaw the team responsible for Sales and General Manager training and recruitment for 90 company offices. While there, he created new diversity initiatives, including a Diversity Spending program geared towards increasing company spending with Certified Women/Minority Owned Businesses. During his time in the financial sector with Merrill Lynch and American Express, he designed recruiting and training strategies, including before-its-time computer-based training systems.
In his spare time, he is a cycling enthusiast and a CrossFit novice.
